Project: Chewbies website and digital strategy

When one of Australia’s leading pork producers, Rivalea, were launching a new pork dog treat into supermarkets nationwide, they needed a brand platform and strategy that would bring the Chewbies name and personality to life, communicate the product benefits to a nation of dog lovers and encourage trial and repeat purchase.
With no product awareness, GenR8 identified the need to capitalise on the strong relationship that exists between dogs and their owners, and create a brand presence that would provoke an emotional response and position Chewbies as a natural, healthy alternative to popular processed products.
With a personality that is fun-loving, irreverent, cheeky and loyal, GenR8 designed a website and digital strategy that would engage and entertain dog owners while making them feel good about feeding their dogs a natural product
The Chewbies website acts as a central hub for both product information and entertainment with activities that are engaging and fun, and encourage repeat visitation and interaction, ultimately resulting in repeat purchase and brand loyalty.
An extensive digital strategy was deployed to target dog owners nationally, using SEO, Google Adwords, eDM, Facebook advertising.  A Public Relations program supported all promotional efforts and provided a range of opportunities for the Chewbies brand to be covered by media outlets.
